Freshly renovated in 2007, with its 245 well-appointed guest rooms and 8 multi-purpose function rooms of varying sizes, the hotel caters to all personal and business requirements. Relaxing in the Executive Lounge with unparalleled views over the magnificent West Lake, the historical Bao Shu Pagoda and the romantic Broken Bridge is a most enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. This fully air-conditioned hotel has an extensive gym and swimming pool along with nightly live entertainment in the Lounge. Guests are welcomed into the lobby by a 24-hour reception and check-out service, with a hotel safe, cloakroom, currency exchange facilities and lift access to the rooms. Further services at guests' disposal are a bar, restaurant, cafe and room service, as well as a laundry service and bicycle hire (for a fee). Guests arriving by car may take advantage of the parking facilities.

The Haihua Restaurant is well known for its traditional Hangzhou cuisine, delicate Cantonese fare, and fiery hot Sichuan dishes. The Orchid Lounge, located in the hotel lobby, is the place to unwind with a refreshing drink, afternoon tea or coffee and cake. Nightly live music makes for an evening to remember. Breakfast is served as a buffet.
