The Palace sits on a land plot of 1 million square metres, most of which comprises of landscaped gardens and beach. Two landscaped pools and two fitness centres are available to use for the guests and are located on either wing of the Palace. Hotel recreational facilities include Table Tennis, Badminton, Kayaking, Snorkeling, Bike Rental, Football, Beach Volleyball, Pool Volleyball and Oxoon riding. The hotel has quickly become a landmark in Abu Dhabi built in the style of a majestic Oriental palace. The building reflects the different shades of the Arabian desert sands and is crowned by a 60-metre high dome along with other 113 domes, covered with mosaic glass tiles topped with gold finials.
